Description
The /[A-Z]/ expression matches character in the range from A to Z.
Brackets [] specifies matches for the characters inside the brackets.
Brackets can define single characters, groups, or character spans:
| [a] | The character a |
| [abc] | Any of the characters a, b, or c |
| [A-Z] | Any character from uppercase A to uppercase Z |
| [a-z] | Any character from lowercase a to lowercase z |
| [0-9] | Any digit from 0 to 9 |
Syntax
new RegExp("[A-Z]")
or simply:
/[A-Z]/
Tip
Use the /[^A-Z]/ expression to find the characters that is NOT between A and Z.
Syntax with modifiers
new RegExp("[A-Z]", "g")
or simply:
/[A-Z]/g
